Most of us don't think much of Wojcik. Too hard to spell, I guess. We might not be giving him enough credit. Time will tell. Based on hardly anything, I have a good feeling about him.

Ha, I grew a with a buddy John Wojcik, so not a problem for me, although we do just call him Woo. 😆 Some of the older guys called his dad Voich as the W in polish is pronounced as a V, so they pronounced his name like Voy- check producing the Voich nickname. .

This past Final Four was made up of kids who transferred from nowhere. That Nowell kid from Kansas State was at Arkansas Little Rock? Have to see how Wojcik adapts and what he can and can't do.

Big year for Trimble. A much improved Trimble could change a lot of things in a good way for us. Opportunity is there for him. At least he wants to be at UNC (as of now, knowing how quickly these things can change... lol).

Yeah jung but it is still a bit of a crap shoot, one of the hottest prospects that hit the portal this season was a junior college kid, had a huge list of major D-1 teams wanting him. So yeah, kids from lesser programs can still play and some of them at a very high level. Not saying Paxson is that high level guy but I do see him as a nice complimentary piece that fits nicely to the need for a back up guy at the 3 that can shoot it but doesn't look to dominate the ball.

I think everyone well knows by now that I am for sure a believer in Seth Trimble, felt he was put in bad spots last seasons that helped neither himself nor the team. He absolutely has to get that jump shot ironed out and solid, not looking for great shooting but he can shoot much better than he showed last season. I think the kid is tough and he plays really hard nosed, he just couldn't buy a jump shot to fall last season and you could tell, it got in his head bad. Most kids would have transferred out well before now but not Seth, he is going to make his stand!

I will look at contributions from Wojcik as a bonus, spot guy, certainly possible for more though. With my limited viewing of his highlights and game against UNC it also concerns me that he seems very left hand dominant.

I agree HE really wants to be at UNC, I think that was his key just finishing at UNC, not necessarily the fit.
