We're tearing it up at home this year. But we have some rough competition coming in. Especially to finish the season - when our final 3 home games are against UVa, Louisville and Duke.

Home vs Away so far - not counting Chaminade

Games W-L Margin
All games = 14-3 18.59
Home games = 8-0 30.50
Road games = 6-3 7.44

I don't usually think of us as having that big a margin or that big a home court advantage. Not only are we undefeated at home but we are beating folks by more than 4 times the margin at home, compared with road games.

I selected Duke just to choose a team. Luke West Kennard could put up 40 against the Heels. He is the only player that scares me on that team.

If there were transitivity in basketball, I'd have to say Lousville and Notre Dame scare me most.

Louisville beat Long Beach State by 28; we beat them by 26. A 2-point swing. Trivial, but keep reading.

Louisville beat Kentucky by 3; we lost by 3. A 6-point swing. Still trivial. But keep reading.

Louisville beat Indiana by 15; we lost by 9. A 24-point swing. Not at all trivial.

Louisville beat Ga Tech by 15; we lost by 12. A 27-point swing. Hmmm. Do I sense a pattern?

OK, so Louisville is pretty scary. But what about Notre Dame?

Notre Dame beat Louisville by 7.

And then there's Virginia....
