Dude, what? It's lame. And the kids who thought it was cool in the late 90s because it was edgy and used bad language should have all grown up by now, so who's still watching it? (Other than @Hark_The_Sound_2010, obviously.)

I completely agree. I don't find it funny in the least and the characters' voices are extremely irritating and I can't even understand them.

This season's premiere was the highest rated South Park episode since 2006. Also, among Millennial Men (men aged 18-34) it was the highest rated premiere on cable TV in 2016. So ya, plenty of people are watching it.

And actually I'm with THN on this one. The older episodes are OK, but the newer ones that are geared more towards current events have been much better.

That would not be a feather in its cap. I recommend staying away from that statistic when arguing your point in the future. You just lost the debate with that.

How pissed is Julez that GSD is agreeing with him on this one?

South Park is my jam. I think there are some episodes in the early seasons that are really good, but I'm also of the belief that the show hits its stride in the later seasons. I've said many times before that this show is much more than just toilet humor or crude language. It has those things, but once you get past that layer, it's one of the smartest and most consistently funny shows on television. I'm also a big fan of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's other endeavors over the years like The Book of Mormon and Team America: World Police.

For those who have watched this season, Cartman is actually the most inclusive and pro-women's rights character on the show.

Don't forget Butters, who in an earlier season tried to give all those women and girls jobs (giving kisses and hugs "and stuff...) OK, it grew beyond the company he envisioned, but he tried... He's actually my favorite character on the show.
