I do not post on here often but I have a request. A lifelong friend of mine from New Bern is at Duke today having surgery to remove a brain tumor. Please keep him in your prayers. He has been my Carolina buddy for many years and we have attended many football and basketball games together. It is much appreciated.

Update: The tumor was removed and was found to be benign. Thank you for the prayers. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Been meaning to ask you how it's going, Mike. Noticed you were off the board for a couple weeks. There's a fine line between checking up on somebody and being all up in their business if you know what I mean. It's very personal so if you don't want to elaborate I understand. Just want you to know I've been thinking about you and sending prayers your way.
