We're 16-5. There are 10 regular season games left.

[No poll choice for losing all of them. I trust nobody thinks that will happen.]

Still think we end up with 10 losses so we end with 8 losses at the end of the regular season. Lose both times to Duke and to UL.

Probably lose to Clemson in Littlejohn. And, I'll be there in person for that.

I’m going with 21-10 but could see 20-11 happening.
Yeah, I think it's probably one of those.

I'd like to see us do better, of course. We all would. And it's possible. But it's starting to look less likely.

In the 2013 season at this point, Roy had not yet committed to small ball. Didn't really do it until the first Duke game. So he still had that ace up his sleeve. But we're already pretty deep into small ball this year.

Does he have another ace up his sleeve for this season? If so, what?

I think we need to put the MA in sMAll ball. Start MA! :)

I think 6-4 the rest of the way is a pretty reasonable expectation given the difficult schedule. 5-5 is also fairly likely but a bit disappointing. Really hope for nothing worse than that. 7-3 could happen if we really play well, and anything better would be awesome.

We should be underdogs in at least three more games (@Clemson, @UL, @dook), with some tossups in vsUM and @Cuse.

Pitt is an auto win. Nc state twice should be auto wins. Clemson should be a win.

Miami is a toss up. UL is a toss up. ND should be a win. Duke should be two losses.

Dunno who the other team is I am forgetting.

I like your optimism. I just don't share it at the moment.

Most of us were pretty down in 2013 before we went to small ball. Which is why I raised that.

After losing a squeaker @ Duke in the first committed small-ball game, we went on a 6-0 run. We all felt a lot better. If we see something like that, I'll be happy again. I'm easy.

The thing is, our home stretch in 2013 included a lot of the easiest teams in the ACC that season. Whereas our closing stretch this year is the very definition of "killer."

Does any other top ACC team have as hard a road ahead of them? I may have to check.

I bumped my vote up one based on Clemson losing Grantham.

There's still a chance we could lose. Tough place to play. And revenge is in the air. But now I doubt they have the firepower to pull it off.

"No Letdowns" needs to be our motto the rest of the way. We simply can't afford it. Well, maybe against Pitt. But I wouldn't even count on that. You know they'll want revenge for us stealing Cam (as they look at it). But we should still be able to blow them out at home. I'd give Jalek and BRob a lot of PT in that game, if I could.

I optimistically picked 22-9, which would be 4 more losses.

I think people are underestimating the road struggles of this team. I think we'll lose at dook and Clemson, and then one of at UL and at Syracuse (at NCSU isn't really at risk as that's the one team Roy coaches to win every time as opposed to coaching to teach).

The only home game we'll be an underdog in (and therefore should lose) is against dook.

Depends all on if we are going to work the ball in and play solid offense or are we going to stand around at the 3 point arch and chuck 3 pointers every time down court.

Double digit losses is a very real possibility now. Dare I say, even probable. Our schedule this year is brutal. Not a lot of games left that are bankable wins.

I'm looking at our schedule with 8 regular season games to go and I see

2 wins - Pitt (away) and Notre Dame (home)

3 toss-ups - NC State (away), Syracuse (away) and Miami (home)

3 losses - Duke (home and away) and Louisville (away)

We're 16-7 now. So that would make us anywhere from 18-13 to 21-10.

Right at the moment, I'm thinking 19-12.

As long as we don't finish the regular season on a 4-game (or longer) losing streak with an immediate exit from the ACCT, we probably get in the NCAAT.
