It is my preference to inform the contestants of this contest that there are scores that are obviously incorrect.

@shane023
@imajericho
@notashelbyfan

Your scores are incorrect . . let me explain, this contest is based on 3 point scoring increments, 3, 6, 9 and 18 points . . the 18 is for double points. There simply is no way you can have a score that isn't divisible by 3, it's easy to see and even easier to check, add the 2 digit or 3 digit numbers together of your posted score . . and if the digits added together in sum are not divisible by 3, then your score is incorrect.

For instance, there is no way you can arrive at 137, 121 or 59 by the adding 3, 6, 9 or 18 in any combination.

As I posted in last year's contest, 'we are all scorekeepers', and believe me folks, this is a very difficult contest to run, the largest burden of running this contest is the scorekeeping.

Last year, I helped Mr. @Steat out with assisting to score the predictions, at that time I began, I noticed that there were several incorrect scores, and I spent several hours researching past predictions to correct addition mistakes ( it happens, no fault of Mr. Steat ) it took my about 3 hours just to correct just 5-6 posters actual scores.

To the 3 posters listed above, please help out Mr. Steat here and research your own predictions and scores, and find out where and which scoring predictions were in error, and correct them. It truly would help him out immensely.

Steat is basically running 2 separate contests, that is double the amount of work he has undertaken to offer to us all. It is highly time consuming to score just one contest, let alone two.

Mr. Steat sacrifices a ton of time and donates some great prizes, just so that we all may have a little fun here on Radar, any help you can offer him I am sure would be greatly appreciated . . he certainly is a big plus to this board, Much credit to him, and his website.

May God Bless,

I truly do not know what your true score should be . . I'm sorry. Do some research and approach Mr. Steat for the correction.

Billy is exactly correct. Scoring is very time consuming, aproximatley 30-45 minutes per game. Then and add another 10-15 minutes for the 2 contests. Regretfully, there will be some errors due the large volume. As I pointed out many times before, everyone should check their scores after each game and point out any mistakes. I simply don't have the time to go back and check each game.

Yes I know. I told him earlier after he did his first double points game that he did almost everyone's score wrong. He fixed them. I have zero doubt he messed them up again when he did the second double points game. But, I didn't feel like going over them all and there was a 2 or 3 game gap between having results posted. So, I was like **** it lol.

No offense anywhere meant. It is probably hard to keep up with it all by yourself. I understand that. It is a large undertaking. I am just thankful for the effort. While I am sure there is much more than just us 3 with wrong scores after that double points match (I think it was ND), it is going to be a pain to figure out exactly how to fix.

So it just is what it is as far as I was concerned.

It a very simple solution, check your results after every game. If wrong, tell me. It takes you one minute, at most to add your score to a prior tally. I'm not in a mood to take your sarcastic comments. Sorry, I'm not excepting any blame for your score being wrong. It's incumbent on you to verify that your score is correct after each game. If you lose by 1-2 points, it's your fault....I'm not accepting any blame. Check your results after each game.

Thanks. I will check and let him know. It may not happen quickly, but I will be sure to do it over the next few days. Regardless of what I find out, can we stop the contest now? I've never even been close to first place before.

It looks like I should have 120 and 63. All I did was find the last time you could divide both my scores evenly by 3 and bring it forward. I guess I'm not as close to first as I thought......

A 17 point difference . . ? Are you sure . . ? That seems like a large discrepancy in points . . a miscalculated double points game perhaps . . ?
The ones I corrected last year were mostly just a 1, 2 or 4 point swing . .

Shane, you had "Clemson/Over" the last game which was double points. You received 18 points for this game.

What?

Literally praised your work.

I mean, if you want me to be a dick, I could be. The Notre Dame game was double points. The Clemson game was right after. You posted update totals after 2 or 3 games and not after each game. So it was not as easy as just checking your score after a game.

I pointed out last time you did a double points game you did a lot of scores wrong and you had people getting 5 points who should have gotten 18 or people getting 3 points when it was impossible and they had to of gotten either 0 or 6 or 18.

Like, I said I understand it is hard work and a lot of work for something you are doing out of the kindness of your heart. Why you are attacking me, I do not know.

I didn't know what the totals should have been because there was such a gap between tallies and the first time you did double points like 10 or so scores or more were off.

It was a lot easier the first time to figure out because anyone who didn't move 0 or 6 or 18 points was obviously wrong.

When you add 2 or 3 games in between then it becomes harder as there is so many other score tallies they could have ended with that I can't just look for those 3 totals to know if it was a viable next week score or not.

(I am pretty sure that is the game string where scores got messed up)

It is possible. The first time we had a double points game. Most people.who got 3 were spose to get 6. Most people who got 4 or 5 were spose to get 18.

It isn't a simple fix usually.

Edit: This appears to be remembered wrong or I am remembering something from last year.

Apparently I am.misremembering a bit. Upon searching, it seems to be after the Mich State game and it was giving people 12 points which should have gotten 6. I thought there was more to it than that, but I must not be remembering correctly.

OK, I checked the numbers again. It looks like I should have 129 and 72 points respectively. When adding the first time, I missed a double point game. Thanks again for doing this, really enjoy being part of the contest.

So far the second half about the only thing I picked right was that I wouldn't have the lead for long! LOL
