will the points start over once the ACC Conference slate starts? In past contests the points continued to roll over, but considering this is a new contest of sorts would it not be better to restart the count during certain segments of the season. Hopefully, this would increase competition, and provide a means for more to get involved during all segments of the season.

Opened at -31 in Vegas, have not seen a total yet. Also interesting that Ok St opened a 1.5 pt favorite but that line has moved 2 1/2 pts, UConn now favored by 1.

We will NOT restart the numbers. This will not be fair to change the rules after the contest has started. The pre-conference winner will receive $100 and the overall winner will get the first selection in the list of prizes at the end of the season. I need to talk to Bleed to see if he can contribute a list of prizes like last year. We will do a separate contest for the person with the best improvement after the preconference schedule. So basically the actual preconference total for each player will be used as their base. The player that improves their score the most for the rest of the season will win a prize.

I do plan on having several more double point games in addition to several "blind"pick games.Blind picks games are when you have to submit your picks via email. The last 4-5 games may be blind picks.

Could be several reasons:

Its a busy week for a lot of folks and they don't want to forget to submit a pick that they can later choose to alter if desired.(we're still 14 hours away from tipoff)

Don't want to pick against the Heels.

They already have a fairly good idea what the lines will be when posted and believe how both squads will perform this evening.
