Ben Carson has to be Surgeon General or in charge of HC repeal and replace task force.

Please god don't appoint any trump kids...
Not even Ivanka?

Gary Busey as Secretary of the Criminally Insane

Gene Simmons as Secretary of Commerce

I'm sure Rudy Giuliani and Newt Gingrich will be included. Giuliani and Christie are more dangerous than Trump, in some ways.

no idea about ambassador...he could throw a bone to the current chick, or maybe fiorina?

i am interested in d secretary, chief of staff, and on a side note, his possible sc appointees.

other than carson and christie, of his opponents in the primaries, you guys think he pulls from that pool?

You may see a Larry Kudlow as treasury secy, Bolden at state, Rudy AG, Carson at HHS gotta throw a few women in there as well as Hispanics

Wold love to see John Bolton back at UN. Liberals would go nuts.

Trump himself has indicated that he wants to give the Treasury secretary job to his finance chairman, Mnuchin, a 17-year-veteran of Goldman Sachs who now works as the chairman and chief executive of the private investment firm Dune Capital Management. Mnuchin has also worked for OneWest Bank, which was later sold to CIT Group in 2015.

And...

From Wikipedia:

"Mnuchin amassed a fortune estimated at over $40 million while working for Goldman Sachs, where his father had worked for three decades and had also made a fortune.

In 2002, Mnuchin left Goldman and worked briefly for his Yale roommate Edward Lampert, chief executive of Sears. He also briefly worked for Soros Fund Management in their Private Equity division during the "Goldman" period with Jacob Goldfield and Mark Schwartz."

Sooooo... nothing really changed. That's what I figured. People in power don't leave it to chance that they lose the power. The "establishment" is still firmly sitting in the driver's seat.

Sounded a second like Hillary had taken office instead and those were her contemplations. It's always the same thing every time!

Setting aside the fact that this is getting someone in trouble for something they haven't done yet, and that there are other potential nominees as well... who do you think would be a better choice for Treasury Secretary?

Not exactly. Most treasury secretaries have already held some position in government. That wouldn't be the case here.

I didn't say they have or haven't been. Hank Paulson hadn't been in government before GWB, that I know of. It doesn't really matter if they were or weren't. I'm saying, the people who own it, will continue to own it. The guy's tracks tell me all I need to know.

So, he shouldn't hire someone with a financial background or should only hire people who don't have a big bank account?

Who would be a hire that would be getting away from the "people who own it" crowd?

Did you see who and what the guy is linked-to? I'm not sure why I'm debating you about this. You endorse this rigged system built on monetized debt. Trump is going to put, yet another, flunkie for the TBTF banks, the Fed, the whole flawed monetary system in control of the Treasury Department. The debt will NOT go down with people like him in charge. The Fed is firmly in place. I knew Clinton was in-the-tank for the banks. She always was. Trump is no different. I guess he had no choice either.

You're never going to reverse the debt with the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve. It's literally and absolutely impossible. Not only will it never go down, it will only increase. And, the reach of the Fed goes so much further than domestic monetary policy. It enables endless war. It enables just about every malicious variable you can imagine. I'm just going to watch and see. That appointment tells me all I need to know.

Anyone who is critical of the Fed. Anyone who is an advocate for Austrian Economics. Anyone who realizes that Keynesian Economics is no longer working. Look at who this guy Trump is appointing is linked to... it's pretty clear who will still have control. The guy is even aligned with Soros.

As Carlin said "This shit they shuffle around every four years? Pfffttt! Meaningless!"

The current system in place isn't going away no matter how much you want it to. So what type of person should he hire?

The current system in place isn't going away no matter how much you want it to.
Then it truly is rigged. It sure as hell isn't going away when you appoint people like that as Treasury Secretary! A monetary system back by monetized debt is incapable of ever being sound. So, keep wanting it to be unsound. Enjoy it.
