Prospect Review: City of Palms, The Bash, Bahamas, and More

Thanks for the update Andrew!

I really think the most important recruit for us in that 24 class is James Brown, he is like a baby Bacot in that he brings good size to the table, strong good bulk (we used to say he has good shoulders and a good butt but that may not be PC for the times we live in, LOL). I fear Ill has the inside track on us with him. I don't think we need a stretch guy as much as we need a physical presence inside the paint, I see Washington as more the stretch guy for now so we need to match him with the bruiser inside, I don't see that in Stevenson.

Understand your thoughts on Brown and Illinois, not sure if some of the luster is not beginning to wear off. Illinois are having some issues which may hinder them from reeling in Brown, even though it is closer to home. Was noticing their play last night against Missouri, there seems to be some underlying issue with that staff. They seem to have lost a lot of the charisma that drew him to them earlier, they are not a very good team, maybe average. Missouri almost hung 100 points on them last night, and they appeared to have quit, after falling so far behind. Really believe they are going to have a hard time even playing above 500 in league play. But then who knows, maybe he prefer to be a star on a team that is underachieving. My thoughts are that we may be a bigger player than what most think. Still confused about Stevenson, he wants more offers but he feels that most are not offering since they figure he is a Carolina lock, and they will be wasting their time. Yet, he could commit to Carolina, or he could continue to wait on other offers. Your guess is as good as mine on that.
