My question to you guys, and this can be answered after the rankings come out, do you want the Heels to be No. 1 given how they are playing?
The players have acknowledged after the last few games, all so-so performances, that focus and letting up have been issues. Is the top spot in the nation because other teams are losing a reward this club needs right now?
You might say the motivation to maintain that perch will be good for the Heels. Others may say a false sense of accomplishment given recent play could be dangerous. Maybe there are other takes, as well.
