Clint and Adam, I have some Duke and other various recruiting questions for you. I would be ever so grateful if you wouldn't mind answering them. I would really appreciate if I could get both of your takes on each question. Thank you so much.
1. How much of an impact has Jeff Capel had for Duke in its recruiting efforts? I don't think it can be understated. I think he's almost a lock to succeed K unless Wojo absolutely dominates at Marquete the next couple years.
2. Why does Scheyer and not Nate James sit next to K? Doesn't James have seniority? And haven't the first and second assistants traditionally sat next to K? Does Nate James choose to sit next to Capel?
3. Why does Duke and K not schedule true road games in team's home gyms. I believe Duke has played two true road games, not including ACC-Big 10 challenge or games in NBA arenas - in the past ten years.
4. Everything I have read says Dennis Smith is a strong State lean. How much of a priority is Roy Williams and staff making him and could you gauge Carolina's chances?
5. If Roy Williams were to add an assistant - let's say CB McGrath gets a head job or Robinson/Hubert leave - who would be the biggest homerun hires from a recruiting standpoint? Can you give a couple names who were players under Roy at Kansas and now coaching or guys maybe outside the family, and a couple names of Carolina alumni who might be recruiting aces, or based on their reputation and personality have recently jumped into coaching and you could see them as absolute terrors on the recruiting trail. Maybe guys you see really connect with players on the AAU circuit?
