Matt, should we take our "statistical" advantage in a very few key areas seriously or dismiss them. As an example, and if I recall correctly, we lead Pitt in scoring, pts against, pts for, TO's and so on...on paper they seem to match up well with us. Hope the guys show up and play a bit of Carolina football Thursday! Go Heels!

Appears that Pitt has a very good defense. How do you think UNC's offense stacks

It was just a few years ago that a UNC grad (and if I remember correctly either a former DTH editor in chief or sports editor) working for a paper in NJ wrote an article about UNC football being a joke and should always remain a joke. The Art Chansky school of UNC sports journalism - piss on it.

Pat Narduzzi seems to have instilled a mental toughness in Pitt that has been missing since the Jackie Sherrill era. UNC also seems to have become mentally tougher this year. Most fans attribute that primarily to Gene Chizik. Do you think those perceptions are correct. If so, how do you see the Narduzzi mental toughness versus the Chizik mental toughness playing out?
