Since OAD started in 2006, only 2 national championship teams have had a OAD on the roster. UK in 2012 and Duke in 2015.
And to add to that, ky would have gone down if it wasn't for a thug play on KM.Since OAD started in 2006, only 2 national championship teams have had a OAD on the roster. UK in 2012 and Duke in 2015.

I've seen that statistic before, just not on this site . .
Why do you think that is?Since OAD started in 2006, only 2 national championship teams have had a OAD on the roster. UK in 2012 and Duke in 2015.
Why do you think that is?
Did it take that long for coaches to get with the new program? If so, we should see more of that (now that everybody sees how it works).
Or is it an inherently risky strategy?
I think it will be interesting if a Duke/UK/KU win it this year. Because then the argument 2 of the last 3 champs had a few OAD's is real.
I also think the times have changed and if it's the way to go forward we should adapt to it.
