This contest is just crazy tough.

Just look at the results that came in for this week alone, 12 of the 18 players are either in the 4-3 or 3-4 columns . . that's 2-thirds of us that are basically going 50-50.

IIRC, it was our good friend, @HookUNC75 that had a phenomenal 74% success rate going into the 10th week of this game . . he was just killing it 2 years back.

@toophly1124 has a very superb 19-10 correct record after 4 weeks, that's an impressive 65.52% success rate.

Let's look at the 5 previous Contest Champions as to how things are going for them this year :

THN11 . . . is 9-20, though in his defense, Zach missed predicting all the games last weekend. In the 3 weeks he was active this year, he is 9-13.

SCTarheel . . . is 15-14.

Strummingram . . . is 15-14.

HookUNC75 . . . is 14-15.

TarHeel0910 . . . is 10-19.

Oh, and BTW . . . @toophly1124 just barely missed going 7-0 this week by one(1) lousy, stinking, go-to-hell point. He missed the Friday night game (Wash.St. v. Stanford) that was decided by a half-point. 39-36 with a 3.5 pt. differential.

Just one point kept him from being the first player in 2 years from being perfect and having his $20 entry fee awarded to him.

But to illustrate how this thing can turn around, I got off to a blazing start and led the contest one year only to be overtaken the last week by strummingram to end up a lousy second place finish.

... but then you got redemption the next year, and knocked me to 2nd place on the last (or next to last) week, IIRC.
