stuffing from inside the turkey, for those who confuse this with the baked separately stuff (which still isn't bad), and doused with giblet gravy. LOTS of giblet gravy.

Stuffing and cranberry sauce (that retains the shape of the can) are the best.

Mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potatoes are also great.

Can't forget pumpkin pie for dessert.

I slow cook it over charcoal. Takes a while but worth it. Plus I get to stand outside and drink while chaos ensues inside the house.

yes. And eat lots and lots of it, again covered with copious amounts of giblet gravy. There is no better nap than the tryptophan nap.

its derived from the German for “for the pigs”. It was their holiday tradition to gather up the leftover table scraps and give them to the pigs. The locals who were poor would fight with the pigs over the scraps and take them home and bake them into a casserole
