1) Clemson in Chapel Hill --- This streak is still unbelievable to me. They have to be cursed.

2) 27 consecutive NCAAs --- Demonstrates the kind of consistency that is difficult to achieve at any level of sport.

3) Oldest Rivalry in the South --- Eat it, SEC

4) 40 National Championships --- Three schools in California alone have 100+ (UCLA, USC, and Stanford). We should be proud of it, but it's not exceptional.

5) Oldest North Carolina Rivalry --- Meh.

Fair enough. Just seems odd to leave out what, to me, is the most impressive of all of them. Especially if we're including the 40 championship achievement, when over half of those are women's soccer.

21 NCAA Championships in 30 years... Easily the most dominant collegiate sports program in history.

@gunslingerdick isn't making any rank 'em threads so I'm trying to pick up the slack here, but I'm not perfect!!! You're right, that streak should definitely have been added. I was going to find a couple women's soccer ones but got lazy

I think this one is just so ingrained in my mind because I was living in Chapel Hill when Florida broke the streak in '95. Everyone was shocked that UNC didn't win the championship, which is a crazy level of expectation for any sports program.

This thread is a mess. I don't even know where to start...no women's soccer stat, poorly structured OP and how is simply being a part of a game any kind of achievement? I mean, the South's oldest rivalry is cool and all, but it's not like any other program couldn't have done the same if they had just started earlier.

I am disappoint.
