In honor of President's Day, I thought it would be fun to rank movie Presidents from best to worst. But I also wanted to do a two-for-one. So the first will be five fictional presidents from movies, then the other will be five real presidents as they were played in the specified movie or television show (some real presidents were done better on television). Also, please don't take this thread as either an endorsement nor condemnation of any of the real presidents, I just tried to pick entertaining/well performed representations.

FICTIONAL

President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho: Idiocracy

President James Marshall: Air Force One

Is this a serious question? Harrison Ford and it's not debatable. You should be ashamed of yourself for even asking the question.

I think there is room for debate, and I haven't given my order one way or the other. If everyone agrees with you that he's the best, then perhaps it's not debatable. But I do think there are arguments to be made for the other choices, and Harrison isn't part of the second five.

Listen, I said it wasn't debatable. Don't debate me on the debatability of the debate.

Kevin Kline, Terry Crews and Michael Douglas (in no particular order) are at the top of my list.

I haven't seen all of these but will rank the ones I have:

1. Abraham Lincoln (Daniel Day Lewis)
2. James Marshall (Harrison Ford)
3. Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin)
4. Andrew Shepherd (Michael Douglas)
5. George W. Bush (Will Ferrell)
6. Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams)
7. Thomas Whitmore (Bill Pullman)*

* Arguably last in any ranking of Presidents ever

Bill Pullman is so lame as President. I know @TarHeelNation11 gets a hard on thinking of Independence Day. But that movie is terrible and Pullman is a large reason why.

You really need to see the movie Dave. It's fantastic. And how have you not seen Idiocracy?

Kevin Kline is a legendary actor. No one would argue that he's an infinitely better actor than Bill Pullman. Please don't try.
I'm not talking about the actors, I'm talking about the movies. Who the hell can say that Independence Day is terrible and then turn around and say that Dave is fantastic? If ID is terrible then you should have followed that up by saying Dave is even worse.

Are you being serious? Dave is a comedy. And it's light and funny. Independence Day is a poorly done alien movie.

My favorite part of ID is when the aliens are demolishing the entire city with their laser beam weapon and Vivica Fox and her kid and dog jump into a hallway in the tunnel. Boy, if they hadnโ€™t gotten the door closed in time, it would have been curtains. Good thing the aliensโ€™ laser beam is ineffective against doors.

The best thing about Dave is how they were able to replace the president with a completely different person who had a completely different personality without anyone noticing. It's a good thing no one in the federal government pays attention to the president.

ID is a fun, stupid, popcorn movie. The sequel is bad beyond words. It's so painfully bad, made worse by the fact they end it with a clear set up for more movies that will never happen.

This is kinda like how @TarHeelNation11 got upset that Princess Leia managed to live for 30 seconds in outer space but was totally fine with a muppet lifting a 6-ton spaceship out of a swamp using telekinesis.
