He is from NY so that is not surprising. Not a NC born kid. I also imagine he views himself as 2 and done at the most. If he has his head on straight and is making college stop however brief it might be? Based on basketball predominantly. UNC needs a big guy but I would rather have Alkin's over Udoka.

I admire you guys that can keep up with all the recruiting news, but honestly it makes my head explode. If they show up wearing Carolina Blue, then great. Otherwise, they are dead to me. LOL.

If I had to choose, I'd go with Udoka. We really need another big guy. I think Alkins is an immediate impact guy, quite possibly a OAD. He has a pro body already. I'd prefer a big we'd most likely have for 3-4 years.

I prefer Alkins also. It just doesn't sound promising. I think he is one of the better recruits out there. Udoka not sold on at all.

Is the state of Kentucky any better? How about Kansas? Compared to New York, I'm sure most people that didn't grow up here or haven't lived here for years probably believe the same thing. That's really not that concerning of a comment and probably won't be the reason IF he doesn't decide to go to UNC.

Between Udoka and Alkins, you really can't go wrong with either IMO. Alkins is most certainly a OAD regardless of where he goes. But it'd be a great year nonetheless! Plus, he'd give us a good start with the fact that we don't produce many OADs.

Udoka is probably a 2-3 year guy. But he looks like a really good player IMO. 2+ years of him could be special.

No preference for me. Take both if we can!
