out there playing in colleeg who is graduating by May and has another year of eligibility left who would like to play for Chizik and spend time on Chapel Hill?

Woad, what about a JUCO? I think that is where we got Sly Williams and he worked out pretty well.

A quick search of uncommitted DTs in this class with a Rivals rating of 5.6 or better show there are only 14 left. Half of them are in either Texas or California.

The big name of course is Kendrick Norton. His coach said UNC was in his top 3 a couple weeks ago, but a more recent report says we're not. Sure doesn't look promising.

Thanks for the info RH. It would be nice if we could land one or two.

Norton is being recruiteds still; by some schools for the OL- and I think his highest ratings are when projected as an OG.

That doesn't mean he can't develop into a top DT, but I would bet that he as a true frosh he will not be able to deliver much. And that is a key reason I think we need a transfer who is ghraduating with a year of eligibility left. Even if just a slighjtly above average MAC DT, the guy will have age and experience, and that can help get us through another year while our young DL players gain weight and strength and experience.
