Recruiting news revisited.

I don't think there was ever a chance of an immediate commitment. I think he'll take all of his visits first.

I do wish there there was more positive buzz about the visit.

As he should. I think there was some positive stuff on premi board too.

A lot could happen between now and November, but I'm still confident Roy gets this done.

What exactly were you looking for?

Anything, really. I haven't found a (free) post-visit interview with him or even any post-visit buzz.

It doesn't mean anything bad, but I'd prefer to hear something good.

I was hoping Little might commit after his visit and after he had a chance to go home and discuss his visit with his parents.
He has said pretty consistently he plans to take all his visits. We would all like him to accelerate that time-table but so far it doesn't look that way. He waited a while for our offer so I suppose we hafta wait in him now.

No sweat ... TlR ... Roy will get the job done!!!

My main concern with Little is I think he sees himself as a OAD and Arizona will sell him hard on being exactly that. They've got some recent OAD's at his position that they've been comparing him to. Hopefully his love for UNC wins out.

Miami may be more of a threat when all is said and done...

He sees himself as a one-and-done because he is one. If Roy can't sell him on being that, that's Roy's fault.

I haven't heard much about the visit either. Did it go well?

Archer, the UNC official visit went well. On the other hand, I'm hoping he does not make the Duke OV or it could be all she wrote. IMO, Roy needs to close the deal before the Duke OV.

Duke plays two games that weekend against power houses Elon and Utah Valley. When Duke wins both, K-Rat will become the first Division 1 coach to win 1,000 games at one school. There will be a lot of media attention. If there was ever a perfect weekend to host Little if would be this weekend.

Roy needs to close the deal before that scheduled Duke OV.

Despite my hatred of K, that rat is on a OAD roll.

What if Barrett commits to them?

Duke is leading for Barrett and Zion and may get both. Barrett has been a Duke fan all his life.

Calipari will have four 5-star players coming off the bench this year. K-Rat may have 1-2 coming off the bench next year if he continues on this OAD roll. I hate it.

I enjoy picking up the info from those of you following recruiting closely. One thing I take heart In is the success in the tournament of teams that have experience, both by years of the players and in team chemistry, over some of the team's that have "OAD star power." We'll get our share of talent, Roy will build the team's chemistry and get them playing "team ball." We've seen this before with UK and Duke in the tournament where their 5-stars don't save them. Building an "all-star" team of young, inexperienced OAD's is a strategy but I don't believe it will be a winning one in the end.

Go Heels.

I know, thats what I am saying. Do you see Little going there if Barrett does? and especially Zion? Reddish alone should scare SFs away.

Both, I think.
Yeah I'd say both. I'm really not sure why they even offered him to be honest. Maybe as a way to urge some others to commit sooner? But the top priority is Barrett and it was a reason why they backed off of Langford imo.
