For those who listened, the most encouraging thing I heard from Clint is the number of younger kids he spoke with who perk up at the mention of UNC or are obviously fans... after a lot of that seemed to be missing in the '15 and '16 classes.
I really think that is symptomatic of the short-term effects of the anti-UNC smear going on out there over the past year + by some of Roy's "esteemed" opponents in the coaching ranks. The good news is that it also reinforces the idea that if we show our best face this season and this other garbage finally goes away then some recruiting order can be restored.
BTW: One of those kids he mentioned was Robert Woodard ('18) out of Mississippi. I saw him at an event back in the Spring and he definitely pops out at you. NBA body at a young age and a court presence way beyond his years. Hope Roy is soon in pursuit.
