I stay in contact with several insiders that I trust near other staffs (Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia, UCLA, Kansas, NC State, Duke etc) and I exchanged some thoughts yesterday with TJ Walker, who I think is about the most connected UK insider/recruiting writer these days.
He tells me that he doesn't feel UK will get Jaylen Brown. Last month, the confidence was a little stronger. The reason I am passing this along, isn't to say that UNC is now the perceived leader or anything, but that one of the best UK sources feels that the Wildcats won't get him.
Just by a metric stand point, this helps Carolina. Certainly still some other schools in play, but this development is worth noting.
