Just for fun, I glanced at the major conferences to see who was getting the top players. Here's what I found:
This is using 247's numbers (because they make it easy to check). Since they don't list Jalek as a 5-star, you may want to add 1 to the ACC's 5* total (and subtract 1 from the 4* total).
The PAC-12 haul surprised me. I didn't realize they had poached that much talent. All but 1 of the SEC's 5* players are UK commits. The other leading conferences are more "democratic."
There are still 6 5* players on 247's list who have not committed. Duke and UK are leaders for 3 of them, Arizona for a couple more. (By "leader" I mean in the top 2 in their predictions.) MSU also has a shot at 1 or 2). We are listed in 3rd place for Knox.
