A lot of talk around the nation's capital that RGIII is done for as a player here . .

CUT the cord and get him out of town ..............WAY too big a distraction and he is not popular in the locker-room

RGIII needs to maybe take a page from Johnny Manziel (pending how Johnny Football plays this year).

RGIII is too good of a talent not to land somewhere and he a potential starter, but when he came into the league, I felt he spent WAY too much time smiling for the cameras and making Subway commercials and not enough time focusing on his main job.

I totally miscalculated his potential. It's a shame he can't play at Baylor professionally.

People seem to be happy he's failed. I don't understand that. From most accounts, RGIII is a good dude and I'm sorry he can't seem to get his career on track. I agree that he might have been a little caught up in his brand rather than his game, but that's easy for me to say. I don't have companies throwing money at me to endorse their products. I feel bad for him. And let's be honest here, it's not like the Skins have been the picture of consistency. Him failing there might end up being a blessing down the road if he can get on with another team and produce.

It was a pretty hard fall from grace. It's made worse by the fact that Andrew Luck is a god and Russ has already won a Super Bowl. Remember those discussions we had their rookie year? lol

slinger RG3 is a good guy and none of this is personal really Bottom line is since day 1 it has always been about HIM

After the 2012 season HE and his father went to Shanny, who has been TOTALLY vindicated in his assessment of RG, and said we are NOT gonna run some 20 plays that were run in his magical rookie year

That offense was designed JUST for him and he was wildy successful BUT he wanted to be Brady

He simply did not protect himself, he had never learned how to SLIDE a la every other NFL QB

He was a human piñata and suffered major knee injuries and ankle injuries

Problem is he CANNOT read defenses, has terrible pocket presence, just RUNS when he should sidestep the pressure .Just has NO feel for the rush and after three long years of trial and error, and with Cousins running the show well

it has come to this

He CAN make it with another team...PROVIDED they design an offense JUST for him

a cross between the read option that Shanny designed and a drop back QB like Brady

What team will do that??? Who knows???

rg3 isn't even good though...he's not a pocket passer and he's not very accurate.

but he was great at baylor and his rookie year...he threw go routes, handed off to seastrunk, or ran at baylor...shanahan told him to read option to morris, throw deep to moss or whoever, or take off.

now he's physically broken down...imo, he is finished as an nfl qb...if a team is dumb enough to give up a draft pick for a guy that's going to be released after this year, then that's on them...if you wanna wait until he's released, maybe he can be a serviceable backup...because if you look around the league, there aren't many, if any backups worth a damn.

RG-Me is just one more, in a long list of, bad ideas insisted upon by the worst owner I've ever seen.

I was shocked when I watched RG3 in NFL. I never saw a high level football player so totally inept at taking contact. If RG3 made a run and got stopped by a defender wrapped around his ankles RG3 would stand still upright until other defenders arrived to cream him. He didn't duck, roll, bob or weave. I knew he wouldn't last physically and Shanahan and team doctor made sure of it keeping him in game while limping on injured knee. Shanahan always seemed a little psycho to me. I remember how he plotted to get rid of Reeves at Denver

Well sadly he will stay with the team as second stringer ahead of McCoy.

This is a mistake IMO a BIG mistake and we will have to deal with the continuing soap opera and drama queen antics .

For BOTH HIS good and the teams he NEEDS to GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
