Right in a way, but what a clown

An embarrassment to fans down under.... At least we still have Bogut, Mills and Dellavedova to enjoy.

Although the NCAA is downright deplorable, treatment on campus is not a trade off for monetary payment.

The points he raise are good points. He's just not the right messenger for this message.

Boo freakin hoo, cry me a river Mr Millionaire!

No one forced him to take the deal of playing for a college program, he took that deal all on his own. He took the NCAA deal because he knew it would help him get drafted higher and mean more money for him. He didn't have to play college ball, he could have played euro ball for a year, he could have NBADL for a year, he could have sat out and worked on skill development for a year but instead he made his choice, now that he has got out of it what he wanted he complains about it? Spoiled bit..

Just like the NBA is the preferred pro league due to pay, college basketball is the preferred vehicle to prove your draft worth.

Both have other options. If he didn't like the college option then choose different one.

Really that simple.

Quit your whining and play Euro or whatever the lower NBA league is called if you want to make some money. If that 100k hurts you in draft position, then so be it.

I would personally forfeit the 100k for the opportunity income that college basketball creates to be seen by scouts and move up on draft boards competing against a lot of players who will never be professional athletes.

Simple business decision. Risk versus reward.

NCAA responded and basically said he is complaining about the NBA rules and not the NCAA rules.
