Sad to see him go. He was working on Quentin Tarantino's upcoming movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, so it will be interesting to see what happens there. He was definitely a legend, and will be missed. RIP

my mom told me about 20 years ago that even when he was the bandit he wore a hairpiece.
He's been wearing a toupee for most of his acting career.

First movie my dad took me to see, just he and I, was Smokey And The Bandit! Jackie Gleason is who made that film, in my opinion.

Deliverance is his best performance... to me. Longest Yard is close 2nd.

He's been looking poorly for at least 5 years now.

This was 2015 in Macon, GA.

Old age is only a curse on us all . . it is neither kind, generous or forgiving. The quality of life we want to desperately hold onto slips away day by day and which many of us already there will never recover.

Well, I'm doing pretty good so far.

I think one thing that helps me is the fact that I don't drink any alcohol, ever. I also exercise every day and eat really well. I haven't felt any of the effects... yet.

Here is Mr. Reynolds with my childhood friend and college roommate and his family a few years ago. They worked on a film together and Keith brought his family to meet Mr. Reynolds. His son "head butted" Mr. Reynolds just before this was snapped and Keith said Mr. Reynolds' reaction was priceless. As warm and caring as anyone he has ever met is how Keith described Mr. Reynolds. Keith said he gave him lots of great advice and was one of the most helpful people he has ever met in the industry - and he has worked with some of the biggest names out there. Truly a great human being who will be missed!

His last few interviews I would have not known who he was. Did anybody else see Cher on the Today show the other day? Damn....
