One of my favorites. To me, he was part of the Golden Era of NASCAR racing. Him (plus dad Buck), David Pearson, King Richard (plus dad Lee), Junior Johnson, Ned Jarrett, Joe Weatherly, Fireball Roberts and Tiny Lund were names that I grew up with.

When I used to keep up with NASCAR (70's & 80's), Baker was my 2nd favorite driver, behind only the King. RIP Buddy.
