Mr First Half did his job, and continued doing it well into the 2nd half, until his offensive gas finally ran low.

He even did a pretty decent job guarding Clark.

What happened to the rest of the team?

I’m a fan of RJ. insert him in joel berry’s team instead of jb, and u still get a chip.

I like RJ and is the mvp on this team after bacot. But I don’t think he is close to Berry. Rj is maybe a better shooter, but Berry was a bulldog and greatest leader, way better driver and pg passer, and way better defender than RJ.

I sort of disagree about Berry on the defensive end. He couldn’t keep a soul out of the lane. Had bad lateral quickness

^ Yes, please. Armando as well. My jury is still out on whether Caleb returning would benefit us. I can
understand both sides of that argument. Puff shows flashes of ability and an outside stroke. I hope Seth, DeMarco and Dontrez return. I wish Tyler and Jalen had gotten a chance to develop.
Our bench just never had sufficient opportunities to showcase their skills. That’s a direct reflection on Hubert
and l hope it changes next season.

Any chance Cadeau reclasses and provides some PG depth behind RJ.

I’d love to see a backcourt of RJ, Cadeau, Trimble, Dunn and Wilcher.

I really like RJ I hope to have him back next year!

Not if he has to run point. He’s not very good there. Move him to the 2 guard position but it is imperative we have a facilitator.

Cadeau depth at PG? Lol. The minute he steps on campus, he is without a doubt the best PG on the team. I’m torn on wanting him to reclass. On one hand, we need a PG badly. But if Cadeau really is OAD, I’d hate for his one year to be on a team that has little chance of accomplishing anything. The rest of the roster just isn’t enough to legitimately have a chance at much.

Maybe not. RJ is a good player. We've yet to see what some guys can do with more playing time, and lastly the portal is a game changer.

It's been discussed throughout the season, so really nothing new to add. I'm shocked at the very little we get from our overall roster for a team of our caliber. The lack of any real contribution from almost players 7 and on. Lack of any dependable shooting. The constant standing around (so easy to defend us). The lack of a consistent fast break. Our decline on O rebounding. Just can't see how this improves by bringing back much of the same roster and the same coaching.

May be one of the most disappointing seasons I've experienced as a Heels fan in many, many years.

I wish anything you said was incorrect. :)

RJ is certainly not the issue on this team. I can point to three other starters that were much bigger issues.

RJ plays hard and shoots well outside of the time with the hand injury. I do think he would be better suited paired with a true pass first pg but he’s a valuable asset to the team.

Love shoots too much. Has never been benched for it as far as I know and that's one reason for the failing season.

I like both RJ and Caleb but my concern is we have watched this back court duo now for 3 seasons, for what ever reason they just do not play well together, as if their games just seem to conflict with each others. I think they have both individually improved as players but they just don't mix well together?

We better hope RJ stays. Trimble has shown me absolutely nothing, other than he can eat a basketball.

Unless RJ was one of those who voted not to play in the NIT, I really want him back. He's been my favorite player on this squad. That's not a knock against the other guys; somebody has to be favorite.

If he voted not to play in the NIT, then I no longer care.

Flip that for Caleb. Up to now, I didn't care if he left because - rightly or wrongly - I think he's a chemistry problem. But if he's one of the players who voted to play in the NIT, then he gets a pass and a clean slate in my book.
