Roller coasters are very exciting. There's a place in Charlotte that has some called Carowings or something like that. Maybe Cool should go ride them.

However, given that he may be too poor to do so, here's a video he can watch that is just like the real thing as long as his desk fan is pointed in his face.

You are really bringing it today, fellow kid.

Carowinds is okay. It's definitely not Busch Gardens or anything, but when I have some friends over and we want to go do something, Carowinds is a solid choice. I haven't been there in about a year, so I haven't tried out the new roller coaster that was built recently that supposedly broke some records or something. I live right near it, so I see it towering over just about everywhere I go.

It will be hard to provide you with exciting activities if you are going to be like that.

I live in Fort Mill, work in Charlotte so I see it daily too. The Fury 325 is a high, fast ride. It is good. My kids have season passes so I go a time or two a year. Carowinds has some good rides just don't go on a Saturday bc it's crowded as all get out.

Thanks Greg. The problem is that Cool is a stick in the mud who is also too poor to afford a season pass. I would offer to let him borrow one of yours, but because he is a stick in the mud it would be a waste of effort.

A couple of years ago, me and a few of my buddies decided to go to Carowinds while it was raining. It was a gentle rain, so it wasn't enough to shut any of the rides down. We didn't stand in a line at all the entire day. It was, by far, the best day I've ever had at a theme park. I'm pretty sure we rode everything at least five times each.

Last time I went, BBW was still there. I didn't realize it was gone. It was great one!
Back in the early 90's they had a great coaster called "Drachen Fire." But, it didn't last too long. I think it was too "jerky" and was finally taken down. The link explains it. You definitely felt that ride!
