Get the beer on ice, its gonna be a Friday night thriller! I heard at the end of the Louisville game that it will be only the 2nd or 3rd time we have met in the tourney in like the past 13 years or something.
Just looked at the stats for the Lville /UK East game and as typical dook shot more FTS which you can almost always count on
Lville just stunk up the joint shooting it... 19% from 3 pt, 57% from FT line
Frankly I do not think UK EAST is even in the game if the Cards make some FTS

Thinking maybe Dook expended a lot of energy today, but who knows? I heard they did go zone late in the game.

So in 3 of the last 4 games dook played (Lville, Clemson, UNC And FSU) only Clemson shot more FT's. No need for me to go back any further to call bullshit on your post.

As a fan, really looking toward to seeing Duke/UNC again. As a Duke fan, I kinda dread it. You guys are rolling and as someone stated in an above post, Duke is probably gassed after the past days. But win/lose/draw, no excuses here, May the best team win and good luck!
Hope The Heels run run run and if they get in the half-court pound pound pound inside out .. UL just had a VERY bad game both offensively and defensively. UNC has the luxury of having MULTIPLE guys that can take over offensively and an overall better defensive team. This time of year is when the balanced and experienced teams excel and advance .
There's a couple trolls on here lately spewing absolute bullshit. Saw one on the Joel Berry thread earlier in the week talking about the PAC 12 specifically.

I think it could easily be a blowout. It's one thing for Duke to be physically tired after two tight games in a row with a 6.5 man rotation. It's another thing to bounce back from an emotional comeback. Buuut, for whatever reason these game are always close, so it will likely come down to whoever hit those clutch shots in the final 4 minutes. The first game it was Duke, the second UNC. This time UNC will have significantly fresher legs and they play really solid D. That's the difference for me.
In theory you'd think it'd be a blowout. But as you said, these games are always close. I'd love to get a blowout win, however, my gut tells me that won't happen. Should be interesting.
Technically anything over 8 points would be a blowout in this series. It so rarely happens. I expect another barn burner.
Haven't checked the stats, they don't prove much. If a team is winning and getting fouled over and over in the last minute or two, that can skew the FT stat in their favor.
We've all seen a team shoot 8-10 FTts in the last minute of a game, when up until that point the teams were pretty even.
I believe in the last 98 games in the series, it is tied 49-49..... and I think Dook has one more point total than UNC in those 98 games.... I think its 1-1 this year, with Dook outscoring us by 1 as well over the 2 games. Pretty crazy to be that close over time.

UL missed the front end of a lot of 1 and 1's, they are abysmal from the free throw line.
21 fouls on duke and 23 on Louisville and thats with ville fouling purposefully late...duke missed 9 fts and ville missed 11 fts......so if you account for villes misses dont you have to do the same for duke?
I must say that not a single projected bracket out there has duke outside of gonzaga's region. it must be comfortable for them to know that they have a soft landing coming their way in the tourney win or lose
This just so happens to coincide with my lifetime which is pretty neat.
Although I hope after tonight for my lifetime it's 50-49 Heels with 31 points separating them.

Serious question: has anyone ever been called for flopping at the collegiate level? Isn't that supposed to be a technical foul? I've never seen it called.
