Lol that was dumbest play I've seen all season. You're down 1, why jack up a 3?!
ND and UVA get out alive due to shaky play late by opponents. Neither uva nor nd looked impressive today. Both could've / should've been beaten. Uncw lost it at FT line.
If we get to the S16, Butler can be a problem. Well coached, ball moves with energy. That will be a tough game if we match up with them.
ETSU was a trendy upset pick. Florida, IMO, was overrated. SOMEONE had to be the #2 school in the SEC afterall.
Seton Hall scares me more than Butler does. They won't be a pushover should the Heels and Pirates both win.

Which is USUALLY Florida.....but they're the #2 by default this year. UK is the only "legit" SEC team this year.
Forget Butler for now...I certainly do not want to play Middle Tennessee State, in Memphis no less which could be a road game of sorts for us. They'd likely bring the whole school, as it's just a little over a 3 hour drive.
And if WVU could actually shoot the ball with any consistency, they would be a top 5 team with that defense.
Mount St Mary's is hanging tough with Villanova. My bracket would take a pounding; but I'm ready for that sacrifice - come on St. Mary's!
Really? If we play mid ten in the sweet 16 and cant handle them rather easily we were never a championship contender. Ill go further and say that although Butler would present stylistic matchup issues somewhat-Ill say the same that if we are a legit title threat neither team should scare unc in the least.
Looks like Seton Hall is a team we match up with pretty perfectly. Not a huge 3 pt team. Bad at free throws. Strength is rebounding which is ours also. No great guards. Not great depth.
Looks like it will be the Razorbacks as long as we also take care of business. Horrible call at the end of the Seton Hall/Arkansas game. The refs should be ashamed of making that flagrant 1 call.
In theory you are right. But they loaded the South as the athletic conference. Athletic teams that dribble drive give us trouble. Arkansas does it, MTSU does it, UCLA and UK do it. It's gonna be a fight no matter what. Those teams are better than credited for. I'd rather play Butler right now than MTSU. But that's just me.
I guarantee if that had happened to the Tar Heels you would have a VERY different opinion.
I guarantee if a foul happened that literally almost reads word for word the description of a flagrant 1 foul that I would be once again telling you all to stop blaming the refs for us losing.
Already been discussed and verified as a correct and easy call by an official.
