Just read that Allen & Son BBQ in Chapel Hill has closed. It was the next one on my list but I waited too long. Sad when a wood burning joint closes.

I've eaten there twice, once for lunch and once for dinner . . barbecue was good, desserts they offered up was top notch. It was crowded on both occasions and the service was awesome.

Sad news to hear of it's closing . .

Amen. We were there in Sept. and he told us he was retiring and closing the joint. Dang shame.
