I see the usual optimism is on display.
I'd be happy to be the team to beat UK. I'd also like a shot at KU!

Ok Bur- 2 JD for you! Optimism? Yes, The Heels got to the ACC championship game. Would you have bet we would have done that 2 weeks ago. We are capable of beating anyone. And yes, we can lose to anyone as well. I think we made some great strides this week. Came up short. We are a better team than we were 2 weeks ago and that gives me some optimism.
Me too- and the Sweet 16 would be the best chance of catching them unfocused.
UK has the best team hands down, but the best team doesn't always win. The only thing for certain is that if UK does lose in the NCAAT, they will all be claiming they were screwed because everything in the NCAAT should be 4 out of 7.
Yes, I sure did. I saw them beat a #17 team after beating Boston College the night before. Then, they beat the #3 team in the country the night after beating #17. Then they played the #11 team hard and had a chance to win. Hard to win 4 nights in a row and 3 of the 4 are in the Top 20 of the country. Beating UVA alone gave me plenty to think differently.
So, yes, I saw quite a bit to make me think differently.

depends on them...do they think they closed out and rebounded well?...i think it could've been better, but some of those bounces were crazy...it should tick berry off about that turnover that led to the bucket and the board that hicks/johnson missed.
it'd be great to get the confidence of jackson next week and just pinson's athletic minutes, but i doubt it happens...seriously, when has carolina gotten a hot freshman on an average team that carried them?...every team gets that kid it seems.
I am so sick of Lunardi and other "experts" telling us the "rational" for the seeding and "what the committee" might do...UVa wins the regular season ACC and (potentially) gets hosed in selection (Dook) due to the home/away issue, not sure at all how losing by 20 pts to Miami in Derm helped Dook (?) but junk about SOS and neutral sites etc...the win at Wisc sure was a feather in Dook's cap but heck, when have they shot 68% from the floor since?

But-Heel , I was worried too about this having the same effect on the team as the collapse at Louisville. But I really think this team now knows it can go a long way. It's tourney time and there should be no problem getting fired up to play. GO HEELS,
