Seton Hall at UNC Game 1 Thread

I'm at work so can't do constant updates. Will try to provide highlights.

Thornton gave up a couple hits right out of the gate but the lead-off hitter was caught stealing and the other runner was stranded.

Tyler Ramirez hit a two-run shot over fence in right-center field. Heels lead 2-0 heading into the 2nd inning.

1-2-3 inning. Thornton is settling in, has 2 or 3 Ks now.

3 up 3 down for UNC.

Seton Hall starts the top of the 4th with a walk. Next batter triples to right center field but the lead runner is thrown out at home.

1 out runner on 3rd. T4 UNC leads 3-0.

Couple base hits and SH is on the board. UNC gets the last two outs from a SH base running mistake and a K.

Double and a couple sacrifice bunts scores another before the inning is over.

Thornton surrounds a strikeout with a couple walks and a wild pitch. His day is done after 4.1 innings and Spencer Trayner comes on.

T5 1 out runners on 1st and 2nd UNC up 4-1

Two quick fly outs and the threat is over. SH has 1 run on 5 hits, UNC with 4 runs on 4 hits heading into the B5.

Meyers scores after a single, SB, balk, and sac fly.

Couple more fly balls and the inning ends.

Both teams go down in order in the 6th.

Heels open B7 with a double and perfect bunt to put runners on the corners with no outs.
