CHAPEL HILL --- No. 6 North Carolina completed a three-game sweep of visiting Seton Hall with a 9-5 win Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Carolina pounded out 12 hits on the day in support of J.B. Bukauskas, who allowed just four hits and one unearned run in 5.0 innings to get his first collegiate victory.

Bukauskas ran into his only real trouble of the day in the first, when Seton Hall (0-3) got the first two batters of the game on base. The freshman righty allowed an unearned run on a groundout following a double steal, but limited the damage thanks to two of his five strikeouts.

Pirate starter Anthony Pacillo kept the Tar Heels at bay through three scoreless innings before Carolina (3-0) broke through with some two-out hitting in the fourth. Adrian Chacon and Logan Warmoth had back-to-back singles before Joe Dudek plated them both with an opposite-field double. Pacillo's day ended in the fifth, when three of the first four UNC batters reached before a Tyler Ramirez two-run single made it 4-1.

Dudek drove in his third run of the game in the seventh and the Tar Heels added three more in the eighth to put the game out of reach.

Bukauskas allowed just four baserunners after the first before handing things over to the Carolina bullpen. Zac Gallen tossed a pair of perfect innings and Chris McCue, who missed most of 2014 due to a blood clot in his throwing shoulder, retired all three men he faced in the eighth.

SHU catcher Tyler Boyd drove in three runs in the ninth off Reilly Hovis, but the junior standout got consecutive swinging strikeouts to end it.

Carolina will return to action Friday, Feb. 20, when the Tar Heels host UCLA in the first of three at Boshamer Stadium.
