Seventh...

Expect announcement within next 2 days according to his high school coach.

Boy I hope he announces for the Tar Heels! He could be the piece that helps continue a great run of success for us.

Join the Family!

I don't think anyone has a true feel for this one as he's kept this very close to the chest. The only thing that would surprise me a bit would be if he chose GTown. Other than that, I think we're in a dead heat with SC.

Just visited usc then announces a decision coming. Mehhh doesnt sound good to me.

I think he was always announcing shortly after his last visit no matter what. I think the timing is more that he finished all his visits and now has a decision based on all 3.

When did he visit SoCar? Was he there when the dorms didn't have toilets that flush and the football field was under water? That couldn't have made that great of an impression. But on the flipside, maybe he saw how the community rallied around the disaster and wants to be a part of said community. Who knows?

I called a Woods commitment originally so I'll stick with it. But I don't see him as a make or break recruit. Lauri on the other hand...

Love to see Seventh and Lauri both committing to the Heels this week. It would make for a good week for Tar Heel Nation. Come on down gentlemen and be a part of something special!

Lauri isn't committing anytime before his official with Zona this weekend. I don't think he traveled 5,500 miles to cancel visits.

That said, hope we get Seventh this week and Lauri next week!

He was there this past weekend when the football game had to be moved to LSU and the Gamecocks got clobbered. Seventh is from that area, so I'm not sure visiting USC during the flood had a major impact. That said, everyone is much better off being on The Hill when the water is rising. And you would think that Darth Visor's quitting in midseason can't help any recruiting.

So any news about how the USC visit went? If he decides to stay home and help lighten their load, you can't help but respect that. I will follow his career either way, but I hope he chooses the Heels.

Come join the Family, Mr. Woods!

Sounds like the USC visit was more business, went to a few practices, etc. etc. UNC on the other hand seemed a little more wild with him tweeting about needing naps and it being crazy.

Sounds good. This is a big decision so sounds like Dad doesn't want to rush. Good parenting to me. I'm still very hopeful!
