Tahj Capehart is a Class of 2017 athlete from Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes, and he's already got a long offer sheet. UNC's the latest to be added. He's a major target for ACC schools and programs outside the league. UNC has recruited the school often in the past.

Illinois tight end Noah Turner's latest offer is from the Tar Heels. That's not a state North Carolina is accustomed to recruiting very often but tight end is a position the staff is addressing once again in this class and Turner's a good one. His offer list is already nice but would be even better if he were an inch or two taller.

Perhaps most notable is UNC's offer to Georgia defensive end Derriyon Shaw. This is his first Power Five offer and he's very excited about it. The defensive line is a major priority for the Heels and they're increasing their recruiting workload in the Peach State lately. Fellow Georgian and defensive end Tomon Fox is also high on UNC and he's visited multiple times.
