Resigning from WKU. Godfather of Mitchell Robinson, who committed to WKU before we could get involved. Hmmmm

Thoughts?

I hope it is to get away from Stansbury. Maybe Shammond prefers coaches who are clean. Stansbury is supposedly one of the dirtiest out there.

...and notorious for a good reason.

As for Robinson, Stansbury pretty much had him at Texas A$M, then hired Shammond to bring him to WKU, which l'm sure was the difference-maker. Robinson hasn't enrolled yet but with a NLI would have to sit. Tell ya what, he impressed me as much or more than any Big in the All-star games.

On a side note, Psycho's brother Ben got an on-court gig there following the last resignation.

Something shady is going on there. I'm glad Shammond is getting away from any potential scandal.

If there is a shot at getting Robinson, I bet we could find some room.

If I didn't miss any off the top of my head, that is only 12 so we have one more scholly! (Rush, Rohlman, and Miller are walk-ons, no?)

He was easily as much or more impressive in the all-star games as Ayton, Carter or Bamba. Unfortunately I get the feeling he might end up overseas for a season.
That seems to be where the wind is blowing right now.
And RW may not want to get in this mess, unless Shammond came calling. Now that would be very, very interesting.

How on earth would Robinson get out of his NLI?
Going to Europe comes to mind, or threatening to do so.

As for us, from what I understand unfortunately Robinson is not the sort of kid who was ever really a viable option for us. Roy won't bend our standards that much.
