In my opinion the Heels need to sign some more shooters can can hit the outside J with consistency. Ala Wayne Eliington,Danny Greene type shooters.

Would be nice but the team has made huge strides since last year.

A sophomore Justin and Joel along with Marcus and Britt provides some decent 3-point shooting. They all started shooting the rock really well.

I don't think we need one anymore. We could always use a great shooter. But, I think Justin will challenge Marcus for most 3's next season, an I think Joel will make his share and even Theo will start showing his scoring/shooting prowess more next season. Marcus is already money-in-the-bank. Brice has his low-post turnaround jumper. Joel James actually has a decent shot! Berry can shoot! Meeks and Hicks have their offensive potential that will improve.

Shooters NEEDED? Not as much as they were needed at the beginning of the season.

We've got 3 pretty good ones in Marcus, Justin, and Joel. (FYI - Berry made 10 - 20 threes over the last 10 games). We made 35% for the year, but were shooting much better than that at the end of the year. Nate can knock 'em down too (shocker, but he shot a slightly higher percentage than Marcus). Hell, even JP shot 33% from deep.

The problem is that we don't take enough, especially when we have open looks. We've got to make that a point of emphasis next season to keep D's from packing it in on our bigs.

We have plenty of shooters, we need some "shot makers". I think Roy
has used that one before.

If everyone shoots from the 3 line next year the way we shot at the end of this season, then our outside shooting will be decent. What we do need in outside shooting for next year is a 4 or 5 who can nail 15 footers and have a decent % at hitting wide open 3s.

When you have at least 1 Big who can nail oputside shots, and that Big starts with the ball outside, then the lane is going to be open much of the time.

You want Tokoto to be maximized as a slasher going to the goal? Then you should want a 4/5 who hits 3s and nails 15-18 footers.

What I'd prefer to see is a 4 or 5 that aggressively attacks the basket!

A crowded lane means no one can attack the basket well. Whether the person going to the goal hard is a 5 or 4 or is Tokoto, you need the lane fairly free of traffic. You get that by great ball movement and great outside shooting.
