Yah - we just gotta hope somebody bounces Duke this year. It seems they are playing well, and I wouldn’t put it past them to go on a run here. They are peaking at the right (wrong for us) time.
All it takes is a soft region and the usual upset or two of the toughest teams they can face. We had to do it ourselves last year or K May have gotten his fairytale ending. But hopefully someone out there can get em. Seems wide open this year which makes me even more pissed that we can’t even make the tourney.
I'm not sure that's even a silver spray paint lining. But, I appreciate the intent and effort to find one.
I do find a lot of humor in that Caleb Love stuck the dagger in K’s final game. Then Love stuck the dagger in all of us watching him play this season.

The only silver lining is the hope, that we won't have to see this group play together again. The lowest basketball IQ as a team that I've seen.
The silver lining is that not making the tourney might have exposed Hubert as not the man UNC needs. Last year was a fluke when Caleb went white hot with his wild shots for a couple games, and UNC caught a break in matchups when they lucked into a St Peters team that ran out of gas. But Hubert didn’t seem to have the slightest bit of control over this team. They did anything they wanted without repercussions. That is a problem. Hopefully he learns and gets things right next year. If not, Roy’s wishes be damned. UNC is a brand in basketball and should always be among the top 20, and a lock for the tourney, at the worst. If he isn’t up to that challenge, Bubba needs to fix it. It is all about winning.
