Yep. If you listened to the PC with Joel and Theo, you will see that. Joel said once he stopped pointing his finger at the coaches for not playing him more as a freshman, and began to examine himself to see why they didn't trust playing him more, everything clicked for him and it turned his whole game around. Theo agreed.
It's a maturation, growing up thing. If Jalek returns, and I really hope he does, I think we'll see a different person, and therefore a different player. I think he realizes now just how much he has to lose. I know I went through that same process myself, as I'm willing to bet many of us have.
I had partied so much that I almost flunked out of UNC my freshman year and my parents couldn't afford to send me back, so I enlisted for four years. My epiphany came while serving in the Navy on an aircraft carrier. I'm so thankful it did. When I returned to college, not at UNC, I appreciated being able to go back and excelled in my studies thereafter.
