Small Joel Berry Update

They haven't practiced this week until today at 3 but JB did participate in the running and shooting they did Tuesday/Wednesday. Roy hasn't seen JB since he's been traveling on recruiting trips but he is in the practice plan for today.

As long as he gets through today with no issues, expect him to play Saturday.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — North Carolina says injured point guard Joel Berry II is expected to play Saturday against No. 6 Kentucky.

Team officials updated Berry's status in a Twitter post Friday night , saying he has practiced the past two days.

The seventh-ranked Tar Heels (10-1) play the Wildcats (9-1) in Las Vegas.
