On another site they say he is "doubtful" for today's game. But that apparently official comment is 2 days old. Do we have any more recent information?

On that same site we have fans saying he practiced with the team yesterday and other fans say their "insiders" say he may be out until ACC play (which is not that far off). But those are just fans, so who knows?

As much as I'd like to beat UT and UK, winning those games is secondary to getting our most indispensable player 100% healthy heading into the ACC schedule. I am changing my avatar to 7th because I feel he needs a little extra mojo to get him relaxed and settled in. Hopefully, he, Nate, and Stilman can point us to victories against UT and UK, in Joel's absence.

I think we all know Roy wouldn't play him unless he's damn near 100% but to say the UK is meaningless isn't true.

Agree. It's a huge game. Anyone saying otherwise is just trying to downplay it in case we lose or don't have berry.

I think it is evidence that we're a step behind Duke and maybe Villanova. Duke was a buzzer beating shot away against a really good Kansas team from maybe being undefeated despite playing without their 2 best NBA draft prospects.

We're an extremely lesser quality team without Berry.

I hope today was more about looking past Tennessee and looking forward to Kentucky though.

puke was without freshmen and had veterans to replace them with. Those prospects haven't proved a thing in college yet. Kansas is inconsistent and mediocre. We were without our starting back court and replaced them with either freshmen or bit players. We are equal in talent to all three when healthy and deeper than Kansas and Villanova.

Villanova has played some close ones recently! La Salle almost beat them and notre dame had them on the ropes most the game! I think it was Central Michigan earlier in the year that played them close as well..no way Villanova has a better team than us!
