LOL! Probably would have been better for us had moo won, but I just cannot pull for that bunch of mouth breathers. They just got beeyotch slapped by MAYBE the 4th, more likely 5th best team in the Coastal, but their idiot retard fans will still talk as if the Atlantic is the equivalent of the SEC West!

0-2, post-high school scrimmages. Doeren now 3-15 vs. ACC competition. One win vs. a .500 ACC record team (us, inexplicably).

I LMFAO when moo was mentioned as a dark horse in the Atlantic. We made Brissett look like Vince Young (college Vince Young) when in actuality he is a mediocre QB.We played our most embarrasing games in 20 years against moo last year.

this coming from a fan base who's team played 4 community colleges to start the year.

After so, so many years of doing it, I still love wallowing in their misery. Their board meltdowns after games rival no one. And you can predict what some of it will be. Such as a thread blaming Swofford for the loss or this beauty: "Welp since football season is over may as well see if we can find more dirt on the 1st place Tarheels......" Just great stuff and I really would like them to keep up the good job. They provide so much laughter it's therapeutic in a way.

PP board meltdowns ARE epic, monumentally so. Last night, Swofford, refs, wet weather...all the typical Wusspack excuses were evident. But there was a real jewel amongst the piles of cubic zirconia. Seems one of their geniuses has pieced it together that the ACC is punishing them via the officials, the schedule makers, and the TV slots (times/places/time of year to provide more chance of poor weather conditions), for their fanbase's "exposure" of the UNC "scandal". And they are gonna be made to pay for decades to come, per this engineering Svengali. You can't make this stuff up, folks.

Heck, I believe the ACC has dishonest refs whose personal biases go unabated. But it's individuals, not a cabal of league officials, TV networks, and aided by logistics folks to boot, all out to get one school.

Get this......they think the refs are calling more penalties on them because of Pack Pride's involvement in exposing UNC's 'scandal.'

LOLOLOL. Also, Doeren is a whiny baby in every post-game press conference. Wahhhh. Good leadership, bro.

DD whining and moaning after losses and bowing up all cocky like he's a bad @ss when they win is a perfect match for that bunch of inbred losers.

Everytme they win a game in anything, they go into their "well, this is a blue-collar, hands in the dirt, working university w/ highest of standards. It's what we are" mode. Sickening self-congratulatory back-slapping. They claim WE are arrogant....what a crock! NO group of fans is as smug, arrogant, and holier-than-thou than mooU's!

They're just rotten and whiny to the core, from their coach to their athletic department, to their radio guys, to their fans.

Re: Faux-and-two, (VT PostGame)
For some reason, still listening to post game...

Mark Thomas says we submitted 3 holding calls to ACC office from the Louisville game and we received an apology and admission that they should've been called.

He also said VT plays press coverage and usually get called with PI's, but for some reason weren't tonight. He agreed that Ramos was mugged in the 4th in the endzone and wasn't called.

Late hit call against us was bogus, Matt Dayes facemask penalty picked up, etc.

Something stinks about this, and it's not just our play and coaching.

Will say this about playing at VT: some very strange calls DO occur up there, and last night was no exception. That it happened to moo was cool, but the picked up flag on the Dayes facemask was pretty brutal, IMO.

Will never forget the Ron Cherry thievery at our expense up there in 11, the Withers year. Mookie caught that ball at the VA Tech 3 yd line. BOTH FEET in, and Cherry overruled the catch from 40 yds away, and CHANGED the on-field call prior to the booth replay. And the PI call on the ball thrown 12 feet over to high for the Hokie WR on 3rd down, w/ us down only a FG, that led to a Hokie TD.

I truly HATE Ron Cherry. May festering herpes sores cover him head to toe for all of his remaining days. Arrogant b@st@rd.

Cherry is probably the worst official in the country.

Definitely the most openly agenda'd and carelessly dishonest official ever, that's for sure. A cancer on college football. Just a cancer ("you got a problem?"UNC vs. BC 09, and "you're not getting the ball back, I don't care what replay shows"UNC vs. VA Tech 10).

If we don't beat those peckerheads this year then Fedora needs his ass sent packing. No excuses,no frigging way they are beter than the Heels...NO WAY.

He is also just plain turrible (2 degrees past terrible).

While I'm in general agreement that obsessing over one game a year and defining ourselves by the result of one game per year, ala the WoopFack, there is no doubt that they have the psych advantage every year in the matchup. They WANT it worse than fresh air; we just treat it as another game.

Fed is doing a good job getting a bit more emphasis on it w/ the team. Which is good, on balance. And to his credit, he's not letting the emphasis crossover into obsession.

It also "helps" Moo that we are the only team they see as a rival. So they focus all their energy on that. We see two teams as direct rivals, which disperses the "intensity" of each rivalry game just a hair -- if that makes sense.

You're right though, the Moo team does WANT each Carolina-Moo game a ton -- last year's beatdown is one of the only times I've seen that team play with heart under Doeren. Generally they look like lifeless bodies going through the motions in most games. Like against VT last Friday; as soon as VT scored their first TD, State went silent and didn't make a whimper the rest of the game. It's strange. They play with zero heart under Doeren. Zero fire. Except against us.
