I want to beat them more than any team on the schedule in 2019. This would be a huge win to kick off Mack’s tenure.

As you are a Clemson student, that makes sense. But even if not, it makes sense to those who know SoCar fans. They are a fairly disgusting bunch. I'll take Clemson fans any day.

Obviously you have never been around many true Clemson fans.
I lived in SC for 2 years some time back. I'll take Clemson fans over SoCar fans without a second thought. SoCar fans remind me of the very worst of the SEC fans with dashes of the whiney paranoia of Wuffies.

Here is the hard truth on fans. If you take away the school colors that bring out the hate, most all fan bases are about the same as far as people go. Sure, you have the rude ones at any school, but the vast majority are the same level of people. One reason you don't see any venom coming from Clemson these days, at least concerning ACC foes, is that the feel threatened by no one. They don't really care about the rest of the league at this point in football. The league is merely a warm up for their post season. But if you do want to bring out the venom, start talking about basketball. Then you will get the full version on how UNC controls the league, it's refs, and all other aspects to keep them at the top while Clemson mostly is mid pack in their best years

I grew up in Columbia. I saw the worst of their fans on a daily basis. They are one of the worst fan bases in college sports

I guess their bank account is glad, and that is what it is all about these days, but USC should have never left the ACC. Their basketball program was a national power when they left the league. Has been a tough four decades for the most part since. Their football isn't bad, but they can be very good in the SEC and it doesn't appear so because that league is so deep. Could they compete with Clemson? No. But currently nobody else does either. If in the right division, they probably would have been in the championship game this year as opposed to Pitt. Guess USC can enjoy chanting SEC, SEC, but they made a huge mistake in leaving the ACC
