CHAPEL HILL – The 2019 Belk College Kickoff between North Carolina and South Carolina on Saturday, Aug. 31 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. (EST) and will air on ESPN. The game will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Ticket prices range from $69 - $140. Tickets may also be purchased as part of our 3-Game Mini Plan, which includes tickets to the Clemson (Sept. 28) and Mercer (Nov. 23) games in Kenan Stadium for just $149.
Carolina is 34-18-4 against South Carolina all time and 2-1 in neutral-site games. The Tar Heels won 27-6 in the 1910 game played in Durham and 32-14 in the 1955 game played in Norfolk, Va., while the Gamecocks squeaked out a 17-13 victory in Charlotte in 2015, the last time the two teams met.
With the Belk College Kickoff game time announcement, Carolina football now has its first three game times available for the 2019 season as well as the game at Pitt in November. After the 3:30 p.m. start against South Carolina, the Tar Heels will play their home opener against Miami at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. That will be followed by a 6 p.m. kickoff at Wake Forest on Friday, Sept. 13. The Pitt game on Thursday, Nov. 14 will begin at 8 p.m.
The South Carolina, Wake Forest and Pitt games are all scheduled for ESPN, while the Miami game will be aired on the newly-launched ACC Network.
