Southern Season

That's a shame. Having worked for a small family business I hate to see all these small operations that are owed money and will mostly get shafted. A couple of grand doesn't seem like that much but for a small business losing that, plus losing a major distributor at the same time, would be hard to overcome.

As a self employed business owner i can tell u it is a struggle to deal with people who wont pay for services rendered. I just wish for once these jackasses would walk in work to get their paycheck and hear "oh i've been soo busy i forgot, can u resend your time sheet?" Or "sorry we're out of town, i'll pay u when i get back next week".

Yep, it is the absolute worst when customers won't pay you in a timely manner. The worst part is you really have no recourse other than to hound them via email and phone call and hope they finally cave and pay. My company struggles with it mightily. Of course, we owe our vendors promptly at the end of our Net 30 terms........but our customers? They sometimes will take up to 90 days to pay us, despite only being on Net 30 terms.

When I first opened the store, my brother, who lives in Chapel Hill kept telling I should do this like Southern Season or I should do that like Southern Season. Glad I didn't take his advice...lol
