Final Four for boys basketball started today.

The heavy hitters are in town watching the top recruits.

Had a chance to chat with Stan Jones(FSU head asst) for a few minutes today. I had heard they were "all-in" for a 2016 kid out of NW Florida. Remember this name, Trent Forrest. He dropped 39pts in the semis today. He's a future all ACC wing.

Pitino was watching his guy Ryan McMahon, whose Cardinal Mooney team lost in the semis to powerhouse Sagemont and their bluechip wing Prince Ali(UCLA)

All-Americans Maverick Rowan and Dewan Huell play in the semis on friday. RW would probably be here if not for the early afternoon game in Coral Gables on saturday.

1.Young man is very skilled and talented, but I'm told there are some "issues" that may ultimately keep our coach from offering. We'll see how it plays out. Hubert Davis was live and in person yesterday.

2. Remember these two Soph kids. Jeff Prophete, Anfernee Simons. Not JB yet, but rising fast.

p.s. I would rather we go ahead and offer coach Rob's nephew. Sure he's only top 50 instead of top 25, but at least with him you are nearly 100% sure what you're getting. [/B]

Apparently the "issues" don't bother Louisville. Go figure. Can coach's nephew shoot 3's and/or take the ball in the paint? If the answer to either is yes.................
