1. Kevin Knox/Tampa Catholic(5A) semi-final game is 4pm on Wednesday.
*It wouldn't surprise me to see RW's face. He's one of a kind.*
Flew in town for TBradley and JBerry title runs.
------> My favorite story is when he came down for John Henderson's Elite 8 game a few years back. You would have thought the Pope himself entered the building. Our coach is a well liked and popular man down here.

I have a pretty good idea but I will wait until it's "officially official."

I bumped into John Henderson at my Smoothie King a few weeks ago. I told him I liked his twin brother Gerald Henderson much better!
Kidding aside, John's a good guy. But he did seem a little bored by me talking about Jabari Parker the whole time.

Someone needs to guard Knox. He is killing the villages. Knocking down 3's, dunks, etc.

Roy and Coach Rob both in Fla. Speaks a great deal about Knox and the Heels. Was Coach Rob to see another potential recruit? Hmm? :cool:

Loyalty is a virtue that will soon make a comeback! Eventually peeps will see how the OAD factories treat their children like product and go back to valuing the schools that try to develop the whole person! Roy is a throwback to that era and I love it!

This is why I am so proud and happy that UNC hasn't sold out to the quick fix mentality and still recruits good people first so they can fit into our culture! I love our entire team for their personalities, character, camaraderie, AND bball skill! (how many universities can say that?)

All these kids, their families, their handlers care about is $$$$, hand outs, and promises.

I could tell you stories that would blow your mind.

I'm not naive; I know that there are plenty of peeps that put money above all other considerations! What I also know is that there are rare individuals that still place value in ethics and character. I believe and see that Roy works hard to recruit those peeps, especially if they are also highly ranked. This might make our potential recruit pool smaller, and might make us have to go deeper down the rankings, but it also gives us peeps like our current team to cheer for!

I've seen Roy back off top level peeps and not even recruit some 5* types and I am glad this is true!
The fact that we are doing all this AND winning makes him special!
