Got to go to the game (Yes!), so I only kept mini-stats and spent my time concentrating on very specific things. I paid particular attention to transition, ball-movement and off-ball defense.
Note: It's refreshing to be at home, if for nothing else that the home stat guy got it right...;)

The guys didn't have the same "pep in their step" as Saturday --- not that surprising playing an over-matched opponent two days later.

Stats of note:
- 12 Fast Break points and 29 Secondary Break.points out of 94 scored. Good ratio.

- we had a poor shooting night --- 3/11 from 3, 47.2% total FG (not good for this game), but another strong FT game --- 23/27 from the line. (Very good).

- 22 Assists on 34 made FGs. Strong stuff.

- On the other side, ASU made 8 out of 17 3s. Bad number, but honestly, most were really tough and/or contested shots

Stuff:
- Brice may finally be realizing how good he can be.
- Justin is still struggling with shooting but played a strong all-around game with 10 boards.
- Folks, Hicks is a budding offensive monster --- attacks the rim like Psycho-T at times.
- Luke Maye will do some important things for this program before he leaves
- DAMN it. I wanted Kenny Williams to finally nail that first 3-pointer tonight.
- Finally, Joel ***ing Berry. Sure, the numbers were notable --- 11 pts & 11 dimes, vs 1 TO, add in a Steal and 4 more caused TOs and 2 boards. But more than that, I watched him like a hawk on and off the ball on D, and granted, it's a "coach" thing, but the kid is an absolute clinic to watch work.

I made a special point of watching Berry's defense and his interaction with Paige, it was a thing of beauty to behold. This is a very good passing team, as good on the whole as I can remember in a long time. I sure hope Marcus is okay.
